Crimson Succulent

Succulent type: Leaf succulent (Stores water in its leaves)

This large leaf succulent grows up to 89 feet (27.1 meters) tall. The wispy stem is slate and washed-out green, and is covered in lots of rigid beige spines. The jagged-edged, broad, flat leaves are either red or lime, with slate zig-zags. Very large amounts of them grow from the base in a loosely patterned way. The leaves are light, but take little effort to detach.

It is very slow growing, taking 11 years to reach maturity. Once mature, several flowers with solid beige petals and a beige central disk grow at the top, reappearing once every 7 years. The flower head is made up of 9 petals in raised layers. It has the faintest scent that smells like old shoes.

The leaf succulent's skin is thin, the lilac flesh is sticky, and the drab purple sap is thin.
