Copper Moss

This copper moss is commonly found growing in medium-sized clumps On rotten logs, In bogs, and In rainy mountain ranges.
It is small, growing up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. It forms in thick clumps, and is extremely frail.
When mature, emerald triangular capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-autumn to release dozens of spores; it can cause severe allergic reactions.
