Bluebell Moss

Moss type: Moss

This light blue moss is commonly found growing in tiny clumps On rotten logs, In bogs, and In damp forests.
It is huge, growing up to 10 inches (25 cm) tall. It forms in extensive patches and they are exceptionally hardy, and is very frail.
When mature, emerald cylindrical capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-summer to release millions of spores; it can cause allergic reactions.


It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
It is difficult to kill and will quickly regrow if it falls or if its limbs are knocked off.
