Cyanbrush

This small shrub grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall and lives for around 26 years. It is very susceptible to disease and insect infestation.

It has dozens of stocky, straight stems covered in thin, silky, light brown bark, and the wood inside is mahogany-coloured.

The branches are short and slender that and are covered with handfuls of small, cylindrical, leaves with rounded edges. The leaves themselves are red on the sides and cyan at the center, strong and sticky.

In late spring it produces many clusters of tiny, deep yellow flowers with fan-like petals with a tube-like floral cup. They fall easily and have a delicate scent that smells like new carpet.
