When mature, emerald oval-shaped capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early winter to release millions of spores; it can cause severe allergic reactions.
It is suitable for use as a construction material
It is difficult to kill and will quickly regrow if it falls or if its limbs are knocked off.
It can grow in even the most barren lands.
