Blueleaf Tree

This average-sized tree grows up to 39 meters (128.0 feet) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 142 years old. It is very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a thick, wonky trunk covered in silky, gray bark, and inside, the medium-dense wood is burgundy-brown.

The small bunches of branches are very short and slender and are covered with copious amounts of rough, large, needle-like leaves with rounded edges. The leaves themselves are solid sky blue with cream streaks.

In early spring, it produces thousands of tiny, gentle red blossoms with long, tapering petals with a tube-like floral cup. They are sturdy and have a delicate scent that smells like coconut.

In late summer it forms small, caramel, tough-shelled seeds.

The roots are fine and grow in a large web, and overall the tree is sturdy and rigid.

Forests of this species feature the trees packed together, with grassy ground between them.
