Moss type: Moss

This green moss is commonly found blanketing large areas In moorlands, On rotten logs, and In damp forests.
It is modest-sized, growing up to 6 inches (15 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps, and is very delicate.
When mature, emerald spiral capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-summer to release millions of spores; it can cause allergic reactions.

It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
It is often home to a particular bird species.
It is possible to grow it from cuttings.
