Emerald

This gray-green moss is commonly found growing in medium-sized clumps In rainy mountain ranges.
It is short, growing up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps, and is extremely flexible; it is very difficult to kill.
When mature, emerald crescent-shaped capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-summer to release thousands of spores; it can cause severe allergic reactions.
