Caramel

This big shrub grows up to 7 feet (2.1 meters) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 185 years old. It is very resistant to disease but is susceptible to destructive insect infestation.

It has dozens of branched, straight stems covered in hard, smooth, dark gray bark, and the wood inside is mahogany-coloured.

The branches are very long and thick with dozens of twigs that and are covered with very large amounts of tiny, crescent-shaped, leaves with wavy edges. The leaves themselves are blood red and caramel, frail and rough.

It produces bunches of medium-sized, dark yellow flowers with circular shaped petals. They are hardy and have a scent whose strength depends on external factors, such as soil quality and rain frequency that smells like sweat. In late winter it forms giantlight brown, tough-shelled seeds.
