Burgundy Succulent
Succulent type: Stem succulent (Stores water in its stem)This average-sized cactus grows up to 69 feet (21.0 meters) tall. The sickle shaped stem is burgundy, and is covered in handfuls of flexible dark brown spines.
It is fast growing, taking 9 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a single flower with solid light grey petals and a crimson central disk grows at the top, reappearing once every 3 years. The flower head is shaped like a dish made up of dozens of tightly layered, round-tipped petals. It has a scent that varies in strength that smells like grass cuttings.
The cactus's skin is tough, the dark brown flesh is rough, and the lilac sap is thin.
It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
