Black Clinger

This average-sized flower grows up to 1.0 foot (30 cm) tall. Its gray-green stem is thick, and the small, orange leaves are very thin with serrated edges. Many leaves grow along the entire length of the stem.

Two medium-sized flowers sit at the end of each stem. The flowers are 16 cm (6.3 inches) wide, with petals that are amber on the edges and black at the center. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 56 curved petals. They detach easily.

It has a faint scent that smells like cinnamon, and it has lots of pollen. It is a self-pollinator, but is also visited by some specific types of insect.
