Copper Moss

This copper moss is commonly found blanketing large areas In bogs.
It is massive, growing up to 1.7 feet (51 cm) tall. It forms in extensive patches, and is extremely sturdy.
When mature, emerald teardrop-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late summer to release dozens of spores; it does not cause many allergic reactions.
