Bluefruit Tree

Fruit Tree type: Deciduous (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This average-sized fruit tree grows up to 15 feet (4.6 meters) tall and lives for up to 15 years, with the oldest known specimen being around 27 years old. It is susceptible to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a thick, wonky trunk covered in delicate, cracked, white with black speckled bark, and inside, the light wood is pale brown.

The branches are short stubs and are covered with very large amounts of large, slender, pointed leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are brown at the bottom and beige with gentle blue streaks at the top.

In early spring, it produces large amounts of large, black blossoms with flame-shaped shaped petals. They are sturdy and have a strong scent that smells like a man.

In early summer it produces tiny, finger-like fruit. The rough dark yellow skin is tough and inedible, and the crunchy light grey flesh is salty and very juicy. The crimson seeds are tiny and are dotted around on the skin of the fruit.

The roots form a tightly packed ball, and overall the tree is rigid and brittle.

Forests of this species feature well-spaced trees, with grassy ground between them.
