Pinktail Grass

This short, green grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The long, narrow stalks grow in thick clumps that are strong and tough and they are slow to spread and grow.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, pink tail.

During the early summer, it produces a modest amount of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with a handful of small grains.
