Crimson Moss

This pink-red moss is commonly found blanketing large areas In damp forests.
It is average-sized, growing up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps, and is extremely resilient; it can easily endure being trodden on.
When mature, emerald circular capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early winter to release dozens of spores.
