Copperleaf

Shrub type: Deciduous (Stores water in its stem)

This average-sized shrub grows up to 2 feet (61.0 cm) tall and lives for around 27 years. It is very resistant to destructive insect infestation but susceptible to disease.

It has several thick, twisting stems covered in smooth, yellow-brown bark, and the wood inside is brown.

The branches are short, thin and wispy that and are covered with thick bunches of huge, long, narrow, leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are a shade of copper that gradient shifts to faded purple at the top, resilient and crispy.

It produces many small, white flowers with stiff, pointed petals. They fall easily and have the faintest scent that smells like fruity. In early winter it forms giantvibrant yellow, tough-shelled seeds.

All of it is said to be part of one single, massive plant.
It is suitable for making strong rope
It grows well in the sun and full shade.
It comes in 8 varieties, each with a different leaf colour.
It is difficult to cut through.
