Copper-colored

It has dozens of thick, wonky stems covered in rough, pine-coloured bark, and the wood inside is copper-coloured.
The branches are short, rigid and upright with thousands of twigs that and are covered with small amounts of giant, broad, flat, leaves with ripped edges. The leaves themselves are generally orange, flexible and clammy.
It produces a thick sheet of tiny, blue flowers with sickle shaped petals with a trumpet-shaped floral cup. They are hardy and have an overpowering scent that smells like apple. In midwinter it forms smalllime, winged seeds that float and land far away.
