Emerald

This moss green moss is commonly found blanketing tiny areas On rotten logs, and In heathlands.
It is short, growing up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps, and is extremely delicate.
When mature, emerald shield-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early winter to release thousands of spores; it can cause severe allergic reactions.
