Coppervine

This giant flower grows up to 8.0 feet (2.4 meters) tall. Its copper stems grow in bunches of 4 and are thin and straight, and the small, orange-yellow leaves are broad, flat with irregular edges. A pair of leaves grow at the base of the stem.

Each stem splits 3 to 5 times; a single small flower grows at the end of each split. The flowers are 99 cm (39.0 inches) wide, with bold purple petals and a white central disk. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 20 petals. They detach easily.

It has an intensely strong scent that smells like citrus, and it has very little pollen. It is a self-pollinator.
