Red Spine Succulent

This average-sized cactus grows up to 38 feet (11.6 meters) tall. The sickle shaped stem is gentle red, and is covered in thousands of fine, gold, hair-like spines. The spherical body is yellow-green, and is covered in many rigid aquamarine spines.

It is slow growing, taking 6 years to reach maturity. Once mature, a handful of flowers, with alternating petals of orange and bronze, with a muted green central disk, grow at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 47 petals. It has a weak scent that smells like garlic.

The cactus's skin is extremely thick, the light grey flesh is leathery, and the cyan sap is thin.
