Succulent type: Leaf succulent (Stores water in its leaves)

This average-sized leaf succulent grows up to 39 feet (11.9 meters) tall. The finger-like stem is moss green, and is dotted with small olive spines. The finger-like leaves are red on the sides and turquoise at the center. Large amounts of them grow on wide, gray branches that are long and thick. The leaves are delicate, but detach easily.

It is steady-growing, taking 4 years to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, a handful of flowers, with each petal a slightly different shade of silver, grow at the top, reappearing after 2 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is made up of handfuls of petals in raised layers. It has a delicate scent that smells like lemon.

The leaf succulent's skin is nearly impenetrable, the yellow flesh is rough, and the peach sap is thin and causes upset stomachs if consumed.

It is suitable for use as a construction material
A particular bird species likes to nest in it.
The sap causes severe allergic reactions.
The trunk and branches are covered in large spikes.
