Emerald Bog Moss

This emerald moss is commonly found growing in large clumps In bogs, and On trees.
It is short, growing up to 1 inch (3 cm) tall. It forms in extensive patches, and is overwhelmingly rigid.
When mature, emerald V-shaped capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late autumn to release hundred of spores; it can cause allergic reactions.
