Burgundy Succulent

This short cactus grows up to 3 feet (91.4 cm) tall. The fan-like stem is burgundy, and is covered in sharp spines. The round body is burgundy, and is covered in brittle bronze spines.

It is very fast growing, taking 5 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a handful of flowers, with grey petals that gradient shift to sky blue on the outer edge. The central disk is cream, grow at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is made up of 7 petals in raised layers. It has a powerful scent that smells like a damp log.

The cactus's skin is thick, the azure flesh is waxy, and the hazel sap is thin.
