Crimson Moss

This red moss is commonly found growing in tiny clumps In rainforests.
It is large, growing up to 10 inches (25 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps, and is slightly flexible; it can easily endure flooding and draughts.
When mature, emerald teardrop-shaped capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late summer to release millions of spores.
