Moss type: MossThis dark green and dark grey moss is commonly found blanketing medium-sized areas On rotten logs, In moorlands, and In rainy mountain ranges.
It is short, growing up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps and they are exceptionally hardy, and is extremely hardy; it can easily endure flooding and draughts.
When mature, emerald cylindrical capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early summer to release hundred of spores.
The colour changes depends on whether the soil is acidic or alkaline.
It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
It is very rare outside of a particular area.
