Amberleaf

This colossal shrub grows up to 10 feet (3.0 meters) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 189 years old. It is very resistant to destructive insect infestation but susceptible to disease.

It has numerous very thick, twisting stems covered in thick, ridged, dark gray bark, and the wood inside is white with black speckles.

The branches are very short and thick that and are covered with sparse amounts of small, oval-shaped, leaves with rounded edges. The leaves themselves are found in orange, dark brown and amber varieties, strong and smooth.

In late spring it produces bunches of small, cream flowers with pleated petals. They are very delicate and have an overpowering scent that smells like bleach.
