Copper moss

This copper and olive moss is commonly found blanketing large areas In moorlands, and On trees.
It is big, growing up to 9 inches (23 cm) tall. It forms in extensive patches, and is overwhelmingly flimsy; it burns easily in strong sunlight.
When mature, emerald circular capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early winter to release dozens of spores; it can cause allergic reactions.

It is suitable for making strong rope
It is excellent at collecting and storing carbon dioxide
The bark is frequently covered in moss.
