Copper Cactus

This colossal cactus grows up to 111 feet (33.8 meters) tall. The narrow stem is moss green and grey, and is dotted with small red spines. The spherical body is emerald, and is covered in dozens of fine, intense red, hair-like spines.

It is very fast growing, taking 7 months to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, a handful of flowers, with deep purple petals on the lower layer and amber petals decorated with copper dots on the inner layer. The central disk is caramel, grow at the top, reappearing after 8 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 17 petals. It has a delicate scent that smells like fish.

The cactus's skin is thick, the gold flesh is sticky, and the copper sap is thin and causes severe cramps if consumed.
