Emerald Clump Moss

This gray-green moss is commonly found blanketing medium-sized areas In moorlands, and In damp forests.
It is modest-sized, growing up to 4 inches (10 cm) tall. It forms in thick clumps and they are exceptionally hardy, and is very rigid; it struggles more than most during dry spells.
When mature, emerald V-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-summer to release hundred of spores; it does not cause any allergic reactions.

The leaves are bland but very healthy.
It is almost impossible to grow from cuttings.
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
