Copperleaf

This short shrub grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall and lives for around 12 years. It is very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has many stocky, straight stems covered in thin, rough, brown and grey bark, and the wood inside is burgundy.

The branches trail down to the ground that and are covered with small amounts of tiny, slender, pointed, leaves with ripped edges. The leaves themselves are either light grey, or amber with copper edges, rigid and crispy.

It produces copious amounts of large, pink flowers with spear shaped petals. They are sturdy and have a scent whose strength depends on external factors, such as soil quality and rain frequency that smells like rotting meat. In mid-summer it forms largesilver, tough-shelled seeds.
