Fruit Tree type: Deciduous (Stores water in its leaves)

This large fruit tree grows up to 26 feet (7.9 meters) tall and lives for up to 15 years, with the oldest known specimen being around 16 years old. It is very resistant to destructive insect infestation but susceptible to disease.

It has a wide, straight trunk covered in very thick, wrinkled, gray bark, and inside, the dense wood is pale brown.

The small handful of branches trail down towards the ground and are covered with large amounts of giant, very thick leaves with jagged edges. The leaves themselves are either red or peach, with pink streaks.

In early spring, it produces thick bunches of giant, azure blossoms with broad, flat petals. They are very delicate and have a weak scent that smells like vomit.

In mid-summer it produces tiny, asymmetrical fruit. The sticky brown skin is delicate and sweet and spicy, and the soft cream flesh is spicy and powdery. The white seed is very large and is in the centre of the fruit.

The roots are fine and grow in a large web, and overall the tree is sturdy, flexible, and difficult to uproot or break.

Forests of this species feature trees spaced far apart, with the space between filled with undergrowth.

It can survive a long time without water.
