Violetbell
Flower type: Biennial (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)This short flower grows up to 6 inches (15 cm) tall. Its pink-red stems grow in bunches of 6 and are thin with a curved tip, and the small, orange-yellow leaves are thick with smooth edges. Many leaves grow along the entire length of the stem.
Around 90 small flowers grow along the length of the stem. The flowers are 2 cm (0.8 inches) wide, with pink petals that gradient shift to violet on the outer edge. The central disk is amber. The flower head is largely flat with many raised narrow petals. They detach easily.
It has a faint scent that smells like bonfire smoke, and it has very little pollen, but can cause severe allergic reactions. It is pollinated by a small species of bird, but is also visited by a small species of bird.
It commonly grows in large patches.
It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
It is difficult to kill and will quickly regrow if cut.
