Blue Succulent

Succulent type: Leaf succulent (Stores water in its leaves)

This small leaf succulent grows up to 10 feet (3.0 meters) tall. The tapering stem is black or green, and is covered in brittle light red spines. The toothed-edged, stiff, pointed leaves are pastel purple on the sides and sky blue at the center. Very large amounts of them grow from the base in alternating layers of 2, then 4, then 6, and so on. The leaves are sturdy, but take some effort to detach.

It is very fast growing, taking 2 months to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, a handful of flowers, with petals that are green on the edges and cyan at the center, grow at the top, reappearing after 10 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is made up of 11 petals in raised layers. It has a delicate scent that smells like vanilla.

The leaf succulent's skin is delicate, the slate flesh is rough, and the beige sap is thin.

It is suitable for making strong rope
Offering it in a bouquet is supposed to bring good luck.
