Bog Brown Moss

This light brown moss is commonly found growing in tiny clumps In bogs.
It is large, growing up to 7 inches (18 cm) tall. It forms in large clumps and they overwhelm an area rapidly, and is slightly delicate; it burns easily in strong sunlight.
When mature, emerald kidney-shaped capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early summer to release dozens of spores.
