Emerald

Moss type: Moss

This lime green moss is commonly found growing in large clumps In damp forests, and In rainy mountain ranges.
It is small, growing up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. It forms in thin clumps, and is overwhelmingly robust; it can easily endure being trodden on.
When mature, emerald circular capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early winter to release hundred of spores; it can cause allergic reactions.

It absorbs an exceptionally large amount of water each day.
It is suitable for use as a construction material
It usually houses a colony of beneficial insects.
It is very rare outside of a particular area.
