Turquoise Grass

Grass type: Annual (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This small, yellow grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The slender, pointed stalks grow in small clumps that are prone to bending and snapping under stress.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, turquoise tuft.

During the early summer, it produces very little pollen, and after flowering, it is left with lots of small grains.

It is suitable for making paper
It has impressive regenerative properties.
The sap is edible and very savoury.
It absorbs an exceptionally large amount of water each day.
