Twisted Bluevine

This modest-sized creeper is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 39 feet (11.9 meters) and growing as high as 381 feet (116.1 meters).

It takes 18 months for the slate or turquoise stems to mature, by which point they have tangled themselves into thick mats with a diameter of 3 inches (8 cm) and are thick and twisted.

The oval-shaped, crispy leaves reach up to 6 inches (15 cm) in length. They are blue on the edges and brown at the center, and have ripped edges.
