Rockvine
Climbing plant type: Bine (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)This small bine is a quick growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 12 feet (3.7 meters) and growing as high as 381 feet (116.1 meters). It prefers to grow on rock formations.
It takes 7 months for the brown stems to mature, by which point they often have a diameter of 1 cm (0.4 inches) and are rough and gnarled.
The slender, pointed, covered in fine hairs leaves reach up to 6 inches (15 cm) in length. They are found in amber, lilac and lime varieties, and have smooth edges.
During late spring, the bine produces a handful of small purple flowers.
