Rockvine
Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)This short vine is a fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 14 feet (4.3 meters) and growing as high as 841 feet (256.3 meters). It prefers to grow on rock formations.
It takes 9 months for the brown stems to mature, by which point they have often fused together into ropes with a diameter of 3 cm (1.2 inches) and are smooth and slick.
The very thin, crispy leaves reach up to 2 inches (5 cm) in length. They are green with pink tips, and have jagged edges.
During late spring, the vine produces thick bunches of average red flowers.
It spreads easily and often blanket large areas.
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
