Caramel Red Moss

This caramel or deep red moss is commonly found growing in large clumps In rainy mountain ranges, and On trees.
It is big, growing up to 6 inches (15 cm) tall. It forms in thin clumps and they are exceptionally hardy, and is extremely flimsy.
When mature, emerald heart-shaped capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-autumn to release millions of spores.
