Blue Flame Moss

This muted blue moss is commonly found blanketing small areas In bogs, On trees, and In rainforests.
It is small, growing up to 2 inches (5 cm) tall. It forms in large clumps and they are slow to spread and grow, and is very flexible.
When mature, emerald flame-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-summer to release hundred of spores.
