Cactulian Bluebell

This short caudiciform grows up to 3 feet (91.4 cm) tall. The pleated stem is silver, and is covered in dozens of rigid pastel yellow spines. The thick, gnarled, bronze trunk can grow to as much as 3 feet (91.4 cm) in diameter. Its yellow branches are very long and slender.

The ripped-edged, sickle shaped leaves are green with aquamarine tips. They are hardy, and take some effort to detach.

It is steady-growing, taking 13 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a handful of flowers, with petals that are either caramel or crimson, with a yellow center, grow at the top, reappearing once every 7 years. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 50 petals. It has a mildly strong scent that smells like wet dog.

The caudiciform's skin is very thick, the muted blue flesh is sticky, and the azure sap is thin and has hallucinogenic properties.
