Crimson Spore Moss

This pink-red moss is commonly found blanketing giant areas In moorlands, In damp forests, and In rainforests.
It is small, growing up to 1 inch (3 cm) tall. It forms in thick clumps, and is very flimsy.
When mature, emerald heart-shaped capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late summer to release dozens of spores; it can cause severe allergic reactions.
