Knobbleaf Tree

Tree type: Deciduous (Stores water in its stem)

This short tree grows up to 4 meters (13.1 feet) tall and lives for centuries, with the oldest known specimen being around 204 years old. It is not very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a long and flexible, curved trunk covered in very thick, knobbly, brown-green bark, and inside, the very light wood is gray.

The small bunches of branches are short and thin and are covered with very large amounts of soft, large, finger-like leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are cyan and bold orange.

In early spring, it produces copious amounts of small, indigo blossoms with crescent-shaped shaped petals. They are hardy and have a delicate scent that smells like fermented fruit.

In late summer it forms small, peach aril (seeds with fleshy covers).

The roots grow as a near perfect mirror of the tree above, and overall the tree is sturdy and rigid.

Forests of this species feature well-spaced trees, with clear space between them.
