Emerald Clump Moss

This green moss is commonly found growing in large clumps In moorlands, and In damp forests.
It is small, growing up to 2 inches (5 cm) tall. It forms in thin clumps, and is extremely rigid.
When mature, emerald oblong capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-summer to release dozens of spores.
