Azure Spined Caudicorm

This giant caudiciform grows up to 146 feet (44.5 meters) tall. The finger-like stem is moss green, and is covered in handfuls of flexible azure spines. The wide, lime trunk can grow to as much as 146 feet (44.5 meters) in diameter. Its brown branches are tall, rigid and upright.

The jagged-edged, very narrow and elongated leaves are generally turquoise. They are hardy, and take little effort to detach.

It is very slow growing, taking 23 years to reach maturity. Once mature, several flowers with solid light brown petals and a slate central disk grow at the top, reappearing once every 10 years. The flower head is made up of 10 petals in raised layers. It has an overpowering scent that smells like freshly baked bread.

The caudiciform's skin is very thick, the blue flesh is sticky, and the caramel sap is thin.
