Copper Spine Succulent

This large leaf succulent grows up to 79 feet (24.1 meters) tall. The tapering stem is blood red, and is covered in hundreds of rigid cream spines. The smooth-edged, stiff, pointed leaves are found in copper and pink varieties. Handfuls of them grow from the base in random directions. The leaves are resistant, and take little effort to detach.

It is steady-growing, taking 3 years to reach maturity. Once mature, a single flower with alternating petals of dark brown and dark brown, with a pink central disk grows at the top, reappearing once every 5 years. The flower head is made up of 5 petals in raised layers. It has a scent whose strength depends on external factors, such as soil quality and rain frequency that smells like cinnamon.

The leaf succulent's skin is nearly impenetrable, the crimson flesh is soft, and the vivid yellow sap is thin.
