Blue Spear Cactus

Succulent type: Stem succulent (Stores water in its stem)

This massive cactus grows up to 144 feet (43.9 meters) tall. It splits near the top to form 4 spear shaped stems. Each stem is slate, and is covered in thousands of rigid sky blue spines. The spherical body is gray-green, and is covered in dozens of flexible white spines.

It is steady-growing, taking 4 years to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, a single flower with solid cream petals decorated with sky blue lines and a dark brown central disk grows at the top, reappearing after 4 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 50 curved petals. It has an overpowering scent that smells like mango.

The cactus's skin is thin, the magenta flesh is smooth, and the caramel sap is thin.

It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
All of it is said to be part of one single, massive plant.
It makes excellent hedges.
