Copper Spine Succulent

This modest-sized leaf succulent grows up to 61 feet (18.6 meters) tall. The thick stem is copper, and is dotted with small grey spines. The toothed-edged, fan-like leaves are found in violet and bronze varieties. Small amounts of them grow from the base in a random bunch. The leaves are rigid, and take some effort to detach.

It is quick growing, taking 11 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a handful of flowers, with solid azure petals and a white central disk, grow at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 40 curved petals. It has a delicate scent that smells like mint.

The leaf succulent's skin is thin, the cyan flesh is rough, and the blood red sap is thin.
