Cherry Spine Cactus

This average-sized cactus grows up to 22 feet (6.7 meters) tall. It splits near the top to form 6 wispy stems. Each stem is yellow-green, and is dotted with small bronze spines. The spherical body is emerald, and is covered in dozens of flexible lime spines.

It is fast growing, taking 5 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a single flower with petals that are cream in the center, peach in the middle and turquoise at the edges grows at the top, reappearing once every 4 years. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 40 curved petals. It has a scent whose strength depends on external factors, such as soil quality and rain frequency that smells like cherry.

The cactus's skin is tough, the magenta flesh is smooth, and the blood red sap is thin and causes vomiting if consumed.
